Too much medication intake causes so many side effects, instead of making a person to get well some medications would cause people to develop other illnesses. For diabetic individuals, the medications needed to maintain a tolerable sugar level has toxic implications that lead to another illness such as hypoglycemia. What causes hypoglycemia? In a diabetic condition, constant medication is required for severe ones, insulin is what they need to suppress the condition, but there are other side effects of taking the medication without professional supervision.

Chances are people might not properly administer the medication properly causing an overdose and overdosing would lead to a condition called hypoglycemia. But the condition is not only limited to diabetic people, even non diabetic individuals may also develop the condition trough another source. The human body produces its own supply of insulin to regulate sugar level which tends to go up after every meal. Pancreas is the main factory that produces the substance. Insulin is classified as a hormone, but sometimes abnormal symptoms occur when the pancreas produces excessive insulin which will disrupt the normal blood structure and components.

One cause of the over production is a condition called hypoglycemia or other words known as "Insulinoma" this is related to a tumor formation in the pancreas which will initiate production of insulin in a faster rate. This would occur to someone who is not diabetic but with a pancreatic tumor.

Like any other cancer illness, tumors also release hormones similar to insulin, but then again it would disrupt the normal body function. Too much insulin would go straight to the blood stream and would trigger other illnesses. Determining the condition would need a thorough checking and body scans like CAT scan, this would identify if you have a pancreatic tumor, furthermore, such findings would render you to be operated to remove the cyst. Insulin however is a crucial part of the body's day to day function, because without enough insulin you would acquire diabetes, which then result to a long chain of complications.

This condition would also be found to be present to new born babies if the mother was diagnosed with diabetes during pregnancy. So, health professionals would do their best to eliminate diabetes in the early stage of pregnancy to make sure that it has been fully regulated before they give birth. It would be much better to seek advice from doctors to know your exact diabetic medication and to help you with proper intake and medicating guidelines.
